After the most recent "confirmed" heart attack which was confirmed on Wednesday 7-2-03, John Carman was admitted to Kaiser Hospital and later transported to another hospital for the immediate angiogram which resulted in the discovery on one totally blocked exterior vein and some damage to that "small" area. This had been going on for a few years, plus the added stress, etc...This most recent episode was actually occurring at Kaiser according to other doctors. It was a good thing John's prior paramedic training helped him in this as he was an EMT with the San Diego Police Department a part of his regular training.

Apparently, this attack had been working up to it in the last two weeks since about the June 15, 2003.

TWO stints were inserted and surgery went very well.(surgery though the groin blood vessel.)

John watched the whole surgery and did very well. John recommends it to anyone with a heart blockage.

John is recovering at home and doing nicely for now and is in good spirits.
