can now be reported that U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey is
involved in a massive obstruction of justice scheme, including withholding
evidence from Congressional committees that deal with the destruction of
relevant 9/11 and Iraq War documents linked to lobbyist Cecelia Grimes, a close
friend of former Congressman Curt Weldon, Republican of Pennsylvania.

During
an interview
this morning on NPR, former Vice President Al Gore criticized Bush for approving
the techniques, calling it "obscene," adding that his use of signing
statements is "a raw assertion of authority outside the
boundaries of the law":
