SECRET AGENTS IN THE BODY OF
CHRIST
Many believers
are taught about Satan, as the tempter and the accuser of the brethren before
God. (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-5; Romans
8:33, 34) Sadly to say, that many
of God’s people are often caught off guard and totally ill prepared, never able
to recognize nor cognizant of the whiles of the devil! Not being adequately prepared to
understand that Satan, your adversary the devil, the deceiver of all mankind,
often makes his greatest and most influential appearances as he parades himself
before you and transforms himself into an angel of light, a minister of
righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works! Perhaps, your most
holy, devout, spiritual, and good willed teacher - as the Mystery of Iniquity
unfolds before your very eyes, (that is, for those who have eyes to
see!) Secret Agents in
the Body of Christ!
IT IS WRITTEN:
“For such are
false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into an angel of
light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their
works.” II Corinthians 11:13-14
(Please note: It would be in your
best interest to highlight this verse in your Bible, and never, ever, forget
it!)
The purpose of
this writing is to better equip you, as believers, to understand and discern the
times and seasons that you are living in and take heed that no man deceive
you! To equip you to better
understand the onslaught of the devil that is being waged against you, as
believers, at the End of the Age!
This paper has been written specifically just for you, my reader, in
hopes that you will not be snared by the whiles of the
devil!
Deception,
it’s such a subtle tool of the devil, always having the price tag hidden. Deceived! How this word repels, and how
involuntarily every human being resents it as applied to himself, not
knowing the repulsion is the work of the deceiver, for the purpose of
keeping the deceived one from knowing the truth, and being set free from
deception.
IT IS WRITTEN:
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for
the devil sinneth from the beginning.
FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE
WORKS OF THE DEVIL.” I John 3:8

In the
Apocalypse, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we have a full unveiling of a
Satanic conspiracy in widespread control of the whole earth, and Believers at
the Close of the Age. The war that
is waged upon the Saints as a whole is first and foremost veiled in secrecy, so
that the unwitting soul who believes every supernatural account as always being
from God, is easily taken captive by the whiles of the devil. This is a great and tragic
peril that sincere believers face at the Close of the Age! As we look at the Ephesian letter of the
apostle Paul, where, in Ephesians 6:10-18, we have the veil drawn aside from the
Satanic powers, showing their war upon the Church/True Bride of Jesus Christ
(Please note: there is a difference between the Lamb’s Wife and the Whore of
Mystery Babylon); and the individual believer’s armour and weapons for
conquering the foe. From this
passage we learn that in the plane of the believer’s highest experience of union
with the Lord, and in the “high places” of the spiritual maturity of the
Church/The Lamb’s Wife, will be the keenest and closest battle to be fought
with Satan, the devil, the deceiver of all mankind and his wicked hosts at
the End of the Age.
A glimpse into
this onslaught of deceiving spirits upon the Saints of God at the End of the
Age, is given in the Gospel of Matthew, where the Lord uses the word deceived in describing some of the
special marks of the latter days.
He said, “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My Name, saying,
‘I am Christ:’ and shall deceive many.”
Matthew 24:4-5; “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect.”
Matthew 24:24 The Lord also reminds you clearly of this in Mark 13:5-6
& Luke 21:8. If the Lord Jesus
Christ went to this much trouble to warn you of what would transpire at the End
of the Age, don’t you think it would be strongly advised to take heed to His
Words from Him in (Red Letters)?
And if you’ll notice, He didn’t take time out to mention anything about a
rapture (this word appears no where in the Holy Scriptures, so why do
individuals use it?) Just
wondering.
The special
form of deception is said also to be in connection with spiritual , and not worldly, things,
incidentally showing that the people/Saints of God, at the time of the end, will
be expecting the coming of the Lord, and therefore be keenly awake to all movements from the supernatural
world, in such a measure that deceiving spirits will be able to take advantage
of it, and anticipate the Lord’s appearing by “false Christs” and false signs
and wonders; or mix their counterfeits with the true manifestations of the
Spirit of God. The Lord
specifically says that men will be deceived 1) Concerning Christ and His
parousia --- or coming; 2) Concerning Prophecy – or teaching from the spiritual
world through inspired messengers; and 3) Concerning the giving of proofs of the
“teachings” being truly of God, by “signs” and “wonders” so Godlike, and
therefore so exact a counterfeit of the working of God, as to be
indistinguishable from the true by those described as His “elect;” who will need
to possess some other test than judging by appearances of a “sign” being from
God, if they are truly able to discern the false from the true.
Bear in mind that, “An evil and adulterous
generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the
sign of the prophet Jonah.” Matthew
The Apostle
Paul’s words to Timothy, containing the special prophecy given to him by the
Holy Spirit for the
The two
letters of Paul to Timothy are the last Epistles that he wrote ere his departure
to be with Christ. Both were
written in prison, and Paul’s prison was to him what the Isle of Patmos was to
John, when he was “in the spirit” (Revelation
The Apostle
said: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot
iron….” I Timothy 4:1-2
Paul’s
prophetic statements appears to be all that is foretold in specific words about
the Church, and it’s history, at the close of the dispensation, before the Lord
returns to set up His Kingdom here upon the earth. The Lord spoke in general terms about
the dangers which would encompass His people at the time of the end, and Paul
wrote to the Thessalonians more fully about the apostasy, and the wicked deceptions of
the Lawless one in the last days, but the passage of Timothy is the only one
which explicitly shows the special cause of the peril of the Church of Jesus
Christ in its closing days on earth, and how the wicked spirits of Satan would
break in upon her members, and by deception beguile some away from their
purity of faith in Christ Jesus.
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in
Christ. For if he that cometh
preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye
have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well
bear with him.” 2 Corinthians 11:3-4
The Holy
Spirit, in brief message given to Paul, describes the character and work of the
evil spirits, recognizing 1) their existence, 2) their efforts directed toward believers, to deceive them,
and by deception draw them away from the
path of simple faith in Christ.
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you, and exhort you
that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered
unto the saints.” Jude 3
The character
of the spirits is described in I Timothy 4:1-2, and not the men they sometimes
use in the work of deception, may be understood from the Greek original. The peril of the Church at
the close of the age, is therefore from supernatural being who are
“hypocrites,” who pretend to be what they are not, who give “teachings” which
appear to make for greater holiness, but who themselves are wicked and unclean,
and bring in to those they deceive the foulness of their own presence. Where they deceive they gain possession;
and whilst the deceived believer thinks he is more “holy,” and more
“sanctified,” and more delivered from the desire of the flesh, these
hypocritical spirits defile the deceived one by their presence, and under the
cover of sanctity hold their ground, and hide their workings.
The peril at
the End of the Age concerns and affects every child of God, and no spiritual
believer dare say he is exempt from peril.
The prophecy of the Holy Scriptures declares, that 1)
some – shall fall away from the faith; 2) the reason for the fall
will be a giving heed to deceiving spirits,
i.e., the nature of their
working being now known evil, but deception, which is
a covered working. The essence of
deception is that the operation is looked upon as sincere and pure. 3) The nature of the deception will be
in doctrines of demons, i.e. THE DECEPTION
WILL BE IN A DOCTRINAL SPHERE. 4)
The way of deception will be that the “doctrines” are delivered with
“hypocrisy,” spoken as if true.
Demonic
“doctrines” have been generally given as either belonging to the Church of Rome,
because of the two marked results of demonic teaching mentioned by Paul, which
characterize that Church; or later “cults” of the twentieth and twenty first
century, with their omission of the fact of sin, and the need of the atoning
sacrifice of Christ, as the Divine Saviour. But there is a vast realm of
doctrinal deception by deceiving spirits, penetrating, and interpenetrating
Evangelical Christianity for the last two hundred years.
It is a fact
of history, prior to
The doctrinal
sphere by which evil spirits, in more or less degree, influence the lives even
of Christian men, and bring them under their power; even spiritual Christians
being thus affected on the plane described by the Apostle, where believers
united to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, meet with “spiritual wickedness” in
“heavenly places.” For the Satanic
forces described in Ephesians 6:12
are shown to be divided into 1) Principalities - force and dominion dealing
with nations and governments; 2) Powers – having authority and power
of action in all the spheres open to them; 3) World-rulers – governing the
darkness, and blindness of the world at large; 4) Wicked spirits in heavenly places – their forces being
directed in, and upon the Church of Jesus Christ, in “whiles,” “fiery darts,”
onslaughts, and every conceivable deception over “doctrines” which they are
capable of planning.
The grave
peril of the Church of Jesus Christ is therefore not of a few, but for all, for
obviously none can “fall away from the faith,” unless they were actually in it
to begin with! The peril is from an
army of teaching
spirits poured forth by Satan upon
all who would be open to “teachings” from the spiritual world, and through
ignorance of such a danger, be unable to detect the whiles of the enemy. The peril assails the Church from
the supernatural world, and comes from
supernatural spirit-beings who are persons (Mark 1:25) with intelligent powers
of planning (Matthew 12:44-45) “Then he saith, I will return into my house from
whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and
garnished. Then goeth he, and
taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter
in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this
wicked generation.” With strategy

The onslaught
that you face at the end of the Age is supernatural in its working. No one is exempt! And those who are in the greatest peril
are the children of God; who are not beguiled by the world or the flesh, but who
are open to all they can learn of “spiritual” things, with sincere longing to be
more “spiritual” and advanced in the knowledge of God. For deception by doctrines would not
concern the world so much as it does the

NOT SOME, NOT JUST A LITTLE BIT;
BUT ALL DECEPTION LEADS TO DEMONIC
POSSESSION!”

UNDERSTAND THIS!
“ALL DECEPTION LEADS TO DEMONIC
POSSESSION!”
“Can two walk
together, except they be agreed?
(Amos 3:3) This is true in
the
Every single
time a believer accepts everything supernatural from the spiritual world as
being from God or Divine without trying the spirits; I John 4:1-3. they come
into agreement with seducing and deceiving spirits and become easy prey for the
adversary. Why, because they have
just fulfilled a Universal law for the spirits to work and counterfeit the
workings of God, and by trusting in and relying upon these experiences they open
themselves up to passivity and ultimately give ground to the adversary.
The believer
not fully realizing that evil spirits as teachers get men to receive their
teachings, may be summed up in two ways 1) By giving their doctrines, or
teachings, as spiritual revelations, to those who accept everything supernatural
as Divine – because supernatural – a certain class unaccustomed to the spiritual
realm, accepting all that is “supernatural” as from God. This form of “teaching” is direct to the
person; in flashes of light on a text, “revelations” by visions of Christ, or
streams of texts apparently from the Holy Spirit. 2) By mixing their teachings” with the
man’s own reasonings, so that he thinks he
has come to his own conclusions.
The teachings of the deceiving spirits in this form are so natural in
appearance, that they seem to come from the man himself, as the fruit of his own
mind, and reasoning. They
counterfeit the working of the human brain, and inject thoughts and suggestions
into the human mind; for they can directly communicate with the mind, apart from
gaining possession (in any degree) of mind or
body.
Those who are
thus deceived, believe they have come to their own conclusions, by their own
reasonings, ignorant that the deceiving spirits have incited them to “reason”
without sufficient data, or on a wrong premise, and thus come to false
conclusions. (This is the precise
reason that the Church is in the mess it’s in today, because of man’s reasonings
through his own intellect influenced by demonic spirits which has been
incorporated into the majority of Church doctrine, especially concerning the End
of the Age & Prophecy). The
teaching spirit has achieved his own end by putting a lie in the man’s mind,
through the instrumentality of a false reasoning.
3) By the
indirect means of deceived human teachers, supposed to be conveying undiluted
Divine “truth,” and implicitly believed because of a godly life and character,
believers saying, “He is a good man, and a holy man, and I believe him.” (This is a tragic mistake!) The life of the man is taken as
sufficient guarantee for his teaching, instead of judging the “teaching” by the
Scriptures, apart from his personal character. This has it’s foundation in the
prevalent idea that everything that Satan and his evil spirits do is manifestly
evil, the truth not being realized that they work under the cover of light. (2
Corinthians 11:13-15) “For such are
false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of
Christ. And no marvel; for Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his
ministers be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be
according to their works.” If these
evil spirits can get a “good man” to accept some idea from them, and pass it
along as “truth,” he is a much better instrument for deceptive purposes than a
bad man who would not be believed.
There is a
difference between false teachers, and deceived ones. There are many men of God today
deceived, because they do not realize that a vast army of teaching spirits have
come forth to deceive the people of God, and that the peril of the spiritual
section of the Church lies in the supernatural realm, from whence the deceiving
spirits with “teachings” are whispering their lies to all who are “spiritual,”
open to “spiritual things. The
“teaching spirits” with “doctrines” will make special effort to deceive those
who have to transmit doctrine, and seek to mingle their “teachings” with truth,
so as to get them accepted. Every
believer must test all teachers today, for himself, by the Word of God, and
their attitude to the atoning Cross of Christ, and other fundamental truths of
the Scriptures, and not be misled into testing “teaching” by the character of
the teacher. Good men can be
deceived, and Satan needs good men to float his lies under the guise of
truth.
Here’s the
greatest and foremost problem that you as a believer will face at the End of the
Age and this is what Satan capitalizes upon and how individual believers are
easy prey for the servants of the devil as they masquerade as angels of light:
1) 98% of professing Christians in
America today never read their Bible. 2)
Most nominal Christians have never read through the entire Bible from
Genesis to Revelation once, let alone twice in their lifetime. 3) Most Christians who do read their
Bibles read perverted versions because they claim that they cannot understand
the Authorized King James Version.
This is proof in and of itself, that possibly one has not truly repented
and experienced the New Birth that accompanies salvation because once a person
has been born again, they are given the Holy Spirit and they can understand
God’s Word. (Sorry, I’m just the
Messenger)!
Next question
to be addressed is: “What is the effect on the conscience of teachings by evil
spirits. How teaching spirits
teach, we find described by Paul the Apostle, for he says they speak lies
in hypocrisy, that is, speak lies as if
they were truth. And the effect of
their working is said to “cauterize” the conscience, i.e., if
a believer accepts the teachings of evil spirits as Divine, because they come to
him “supernaturally,” and he obeys, and follows those “teachings,” “conscience”
is unused, so that it practically
becomes dulled and passive – or seared – and a man does things under the
influence of supernatural “revelation” which an actively awakened “conscience”
would keenly rebuke and condemn.
Such believers “give heed” to these spirits, by 1) listening to them, and
then by 2) obeying them; for they are deceived
by accepting wrong thoughts about God’s presence, and about Divine love, and
unknowingly give themselves up to the power of lying spirits. Working in the line of “teaching,” and
deceiving spirits will insert their “lies” spoken in hypocrisy, into “holiness” teaching,
and deceive believers about sin, themselves, and all other truths connected with
the spiritual life. Scripture is
generally used as the basis of these teachings, and is skillfully woven together
like a spider’s web, so that they are caught in the Snare. Single texts are wrenched from their
context, and their place in the perspective of truth; sentences are taken from
their correlative sentences, or texts are aptly picked out from over a wide
field, and so netted together as to appear to give a full revelation of the mind
of God; but the intervening passages, giving historical setting, actions and
circumstances connected with the speaking of the words, and other elements which
give light on each separate text, are skillfully dropped out.
A nice wide
spider’s net is made for the unwary, or the untaught in the principles of
Scripture exegesis, and many a life is side-tracked, and troubled by this false
using of the Word of God. Because
the experience of ordinary Christians in regards to the devil is limited to
knowing him as tempter, or as an accuser, they have no conception of the
depths of Satan's wickedness, of the
wickedness of evil spirits, and are
under the impression that they will not quote Scripture, whereas
they will quote all 66 Books of the whole entire Bible if they can but
deceive only one soul.
Truth alone is
your only weapon in the pursuit of freedom. Truth alone dispels the deceptive
doctrines of the teaching spirits of Satan; the truth of God, not merely “views
of truth.” Truth concerning all of
the principles of the laws of the God of Truth! “Doctrines of demons” simply consist of
that which man “thinks” and “believes” as the outcome of suggestions made to his
mind by deceiving spirits. All
“thought” and “belief” belongs to one of two realms – the realm of Truth, or the
realm of falsehood and error -- each having its source in God or Satan. All Truth comes from God, and all that
is contrary to truth, from Satan.
Even the “thoughts” that apparently originate in a man’s own mind come
from one of these two sources, for the mind itself is either darkened by Satan
(2 Corinthians 4:4) “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of
them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is
the image of God, should shine unto them,” and therefore fertile soil for his
“teachings,” or renewed by God (Ephesians 4:23) “And be renewed in the spirit of
your mind,” and clarified from the veil of Satan and made open to the reception
and transmission of Truth.
In closing, now you should have a quick understanding of how Satan transforms himself as an angel of light and works day and night, never tiring or retreating from his position of continually working to deceive you! The greatest challenge you will face in the 21st Century will be the age old conflict of deception. Deception is Satan’s ultimate weapon! Self Deception will be the hardest obstacle you will face! Deception about yourself, about what you've been taught and why you believe the things you believe.
Deception about what Satan relentlessly works to teach you through his servants. Deception about what you hear, assuming that everything in the supernatural is automatically from God and Divine. Deception about what Satan causes you to hear and what he gets you to come into agreement with. Deception with man’s own reasonings built upon systemic error and a false premise. Deception of being apathetic towards false teachers and false doctrine, not realizing that all the while you are actually becoming possessed through strong holds that are being created in your mind by coming into agreement with religious error and false doctrine. "Can two walk together, except they be agreed." Amos 3:3 (BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH!)
Satan’s ultimate purpose, working all of his whiles is to possess you in one way or another. Remember, all deception leads to possession. Satan’s tool is deception. Your weapon is Truth and the Word of God, which is the Sword of the Spirit. (However, your weapon will do you no good whatsoever sitting in your closet or on your bookshelf) I would strongly admonish you to get really serious about your walk with God, because time is drawing very near to the return of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Will you be used to fight in this end time battle? (I do not know, because I do not know how committed you are to taking serious the things of God). This will depend upon your ability to wholly follow truth and study God's Word for yourself and to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling! These are serious times that we are living in, and I would admonish you to make your calling and election sure! Knowing God’s Word, binding the Holy Scriptures to your heart will be your Weapon that you will use to fight this battle at the End of the Age.
I’ve given you a crash course on
how the enemy works to deceive. It
is my fervent prayer that you would glean some insight from this and continually
be on guard against the whiles of the devil. Be careful who you listen to and what
you come into agreement with!
“Prove all
things; hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from the very appearance of evil. And the very God of peace
sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be
preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who
also will do it.” I Thessalonians
5:21-24
And remember -- There are Secret Agents in the Body of Christ! They’ve always been around for a long, long time and they will not be removed until their appointed time! Not a moment too soon, nor an hour too late! They’ve been left here for a reason and for a specific purpose. Yet I will give you some assurance in putting you on notice that her grapes, the vine of the earth are fully ripe and the great winepress of the wrath of God is very close at hand! "HIS TRUTH IS MARCHING ON!"
It will be up to you as to whether or not
you will be Victorious and Overcome all of the whiles of the devil at
the End of the Age!
